Speech Therapy

About Speech Therapy

At Speech Feeding and More, we address speech sound disorders / articulation disorders which can be muscle or nerve, structural, hearing, sensory or linguistically based difficulties. A speech therapy evaluation assesses how your face and mouth muscles work, if your voice is clear, what sounds you say correctly, what sounds you have difficulty saying and why.  It examines sound eliminations, deviations, groups and patterns. Speech therapy targets client specific goals and treatment plans. Therapy usually increases in challenge from saying sounds in isolation, syllables, words, sentences, and conversational speech.
